Cost inclusions
Cost reflects price of total program, for a private party and is subject to change should the number of travelers vary. Prices and services subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed until the trip is confirmed via deposit. Cost does not include any services marked as “own arrangements” or “suggested upgrades”. Additional hours of services will have an extra cost. All services unless requested otherwise will be offered in English.
Variation in quoted costs
Made for Spain & Portugal will use all reasonable efforts to maintain costs as quoted at the time of booking but reserves the right to pass on as a surcharge any cost increase due to circumstances beyond control. Quoted prices may be modified due to unexpected significant external factors not forecasted at the time of quoting, included but not limited to fluctuations in hotel accommodations, transportation costs (e.g., fuel); other airline-imposed surcharges or price variations; Government action, such as increases in VAT or any other Government imposed increases.
Hotels arranged through Made for Spain & Portugal
Made for Spain & Portugal honors hotel’s cancellation policy. Due to signed confidentiality agreements with the hotels we are unable to disclose exact rates for each property.
Check-in time in Spain and Portugal is generally between 2 and 3 pm.
Early check-in may be requested but is not guaranteed. If guaranteed early check-in is required, we suggest booking the room for the night prior to arrival. Check-out is at noon, late check out may be requested at hotel but is not guaranteed. All incidentals must be paid directly at hotel.
Hotel local tourist taxes are not included. Expect to pay a local hotel tax which can go from 1.00 € to 10.00 € per day per person at the following locations: Barcelona & Catalonia, Mallorca & Balearic Islands, Lisbon, Porto and Coimbra. In case you need any assistance on this, please let us know and we will be happy to provide a more detailed information.
Transportation
Drivers are not porters. All ground transportation provided by Made for Spain & Portugal will be done using up to date, new and fully equipped vehicles, sedan, VAN or Sprinter/Minibus from the following brands or similar: Mercedes, BMW, Jaguar, VW, etc.
Please review the luggage capacity of each vehicle below. Should your party be bringing more luggage than will fit in your assigned vehicle, please let us know prior to confirmation to adjust vehicle size (subject to additional costs):
• Sedan – 2 passengers and 2 large suitcases
• VAN – 6 passengers and 6 large suitcases
• Sprinter & Minibus – please note that we will assign the proper vehicle depending on the number of people
Restaurants
Made for Spain & Portugal will be happy to book a restaurant for you as long as the Hotel reservations have been made through us. If this is not the case, we recommend you reach out to the concierge at the hotel, and they will be happy to help you. Please read carefully our policies:
• Cancellations: If not able to attend lunch or dinner at the restaurant reserved please phone directly to cancel the reservation, tell your Made for Spain & Portugal local expert guide or driver, let the hotel concierge know or dial our 24 hours telephone number. Some restaurants may charge a cancellation fee if the table is cancelled within 24 hours of the reservation.
• No Show: In case of No Show, please note some restaurants will charge an approximated penalty fee from 60 euros to 250 euros per person. The amount will depend on the type of restaurant chosen, day of the week and seasonality.
• Delays: Please note that your table will be held for 15 minutes. If you are not able to arrive on time, please notify the restaurant as soon as possible.
• Agreement: If you want Made for Spain & Portugal to book restaurants for you, we will be asking you to fill up the Made for Spain & Portugal Agreement Policy. Please note that for certain restaurants we may be forced to give your credit card to guarantee the table. We will let you know when this happens. By signing you are stating that you have read and fully understood that you would be liable of fees if failed to cancel or no show and you authorize Made for Spain & Portugal to charge your Credit Card to cover any possible fees as a result.
Additional important information
Local government may close major monuments without prior notice. In this case, Made for Spain & Portugal will offer you the most suitable alternative.

Without the express written permission of Made for Spain & Portugal, it is prohibited to share this content with third parties other than the final end-user, to integrate in whole or in part any of this content in your own promotional material or to use this content by any other means.
Terms & Conditions
PRICING
Made for Spain & Portugal will use all reasonable efforts to maintain costs as quoted at the time of booking but reserves the right to pass on as a surcharge any cost increase due to circumstances beyond its control. Quoted prices may be modified due to unexpected significant external factors not forecasted at the time of quoting, included but not limited to fluctuations in hotel accommodations, transportation costs (e.g., fuel); other airline-imposed surcharges; Government action, such as increases in VAT or any other Government imposed increases. Any modifications to a Customized Personal itinerary, including dates or number of people travelling, will require a revised proposal.
BOOKING
Due to extremely limited availability and volume of demand, we are only able to operate requests with an arrival date at least 30 days of the date of the request.
BOOKING PROCEDURE, RESERVATIONS & PAYMENT
Made for Spain & Portugal quotes and charges in Euros. Please note that if clients decide to pay in their home currency rather than the local currency (euros), a Dynamic Currency Conversion fee (DCC) will be charged by credit card companies on top of the current foreign transaction fees. This additional charge can double the currency conversion costs. Made for Spain & Portugal is not responsible for the currency exchange nor foreign transaction fees involved and will receive the exact quoted amount in euros regardless of these fees.
Unless otherwise specified, 30% of total cost of the trip is requested as deposit to confirm the booking, to be used to prepay any services that require advance payment. Should cost of services requiring prepayment exceed this 30% Made for Spain & Portugal may require a higher deposit to cover these payments. All services and itineraries, unless otherwise advised, should be prepaid fully 40 days before arrival. If bookings are made within 40 days of departure, full payment must be received immediately to secure and confirm a booking. For bookings 2,000 euros or less full payment is mandatory at time of booking. Any additional arrangements will be considered on a case-by-case basis. If payments are not made in a timely manner, Made for Spain & Portugal reserves the right to refuse to confirm the booking, or to impose a last minute reasonable fee to cover costs. Bookings including tickets only may include other fees.
Services will not be booked until payment has been made.
Made for Spain & Portugal works with Flywire to allow credit card, Paypal and bank wire transactions to be carried out safely.
- The transmission of the data at the time of the transaction is made through a secure connection (SSL) that is outside the scope of Made for Spain & Portugal as it is fully managed by the bank.
- Once the transaction has gone through securely, we are notified by Flywire.
- Made for Spain & Portugal does not have access to the data from the transaction and thus cannot store any information from it
Accepted Credit Cards are American Express, Visa and MasterCard, with no supplement for credit card payments. The cardholder must be over 18 years of age, have the legal capacity to acquire the contracted services and understand these Terms and Conditions in their entirety.
FINAL DOCUMENTS
Final trip documentation will be sent via email 20 days prior to travelers’ arrival.
MADE FOR SPAIN & PORTUGAL CANCELLATION POLICY
Any party may cancel their booking at any time providing that they communicate the cancellation in writing to Made for Spain & Portugal. Postponing or rescheduling of a trip is considered on a case-by-case basis but is in no way guaranteed. Postponing or rescheduling of a trip is subject to the cancellation charges below. No refund for unused portions of the trip, cancellations made after the trip has begun or early departures for any reason.

TRIP SERVICES CANCELLATION
Cancellation of one or more services booked through Made for Spain & Portugal:
Between confirmation and 40 days prior to the service: 20% of the full cost of the service cancelled will be charged. () () 39 – 25 days prior to the service: 50% of the cost of the service cancelled will be charged. () ()

UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES
Although Made for Spain & Portugal will make every effort to adhere to the itinerary, on rare occasions it may be necessary to make an adjustment to these arrangements. Should such adjustment be necessary, a substitute will be offered when and where possible. If any unusual, unforeseeable or extraordinary circumstances beyond our control, including (but not limited to) war, riots, terrorism, fire, natural disaster, explosion, strikes, lockouts, slowdowns, prolonged shortage of energy supplies, plagues, epidemics and acts of state or governmental action prohibiting or impeding any party from performing its respective obligations under the contract (travel restrictions, quarantines, trade embargoes, closure of airports or seaports and borders) or any other event outside the control of Made for Spain & Portugal which affects the holiday arrangements, Made for Spain SA cannot accept liability for any resulting loss, damage or expense and any refund will be subject to deduction of applicable expenses. In case of force majeure and we need to cancel any travel arrangements, Made for Spain SA has the right to retain funds paid, to delay the delivery of the services or end the legal contract without legal intervention by informing of this in writing. Clients are not entitled to any damages unless this would be unacceptable according to measures of reason and fairness given the circumstances.
INSURANCE
Before travelling on a trip, we strongly recommend you review your personal insurance and health insurance to ensure you have coverage appropriate to meet your needs, and the needs of your family and dependants, in case of any loss of property or illness, injury or death. Made for Spain SA strongly recommends you buy trip cancellation/interruption insurance to protect yourself from unexpected circumstances that may cause you to cancel your trip. Please reach out to your Travel Advisor for an exact quote.
SOLVENCY & LIABILITY
Made for Spain & Portugal is a privately held and debt-free company. Each trip payment we receive is deposited exclusively into that client’s trip fund and these monies are never used for alternative purposes. Certificates of solvency and liability insurance are available upon request. AXA SEGUROS GENERALES, S.A. DE SEGUROS Y REASEGUROS hereby certifies having signed insurance contract no 82066099, with effective date 01/01/2023 and expiration date 01/01/2024 with MADE FOR SPAIN, S.A Tax I.D. A82318908 for travel agency. The aggregate limit of liability established in the contract is: € 2.000.000
PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION
MADE FOR SPAIN S.A. onwards Made for Spain & Portugal at all times observes the current provisions on data protection, in particular, the new European regulation on data protection.
At Made for Spain & Portugal as responsible for the processing of your data, with address at C / Castelló 23, 2º Izq, 28001 Madrid – Spain, telephone +34 910 633 600 and email info@madeforspainandportugal.com deals with the information you provide us in order to provide the requested service and perform billing. The legal basis that legitimates this treatment will be the need to manage a contractual or similar relationship.
The data provided will be kept as long as the commercial relationship is maintained or during the years necessary to comply with the legal obligations.
Some personal data must be communicated to the different providers of services for the realization of the acquired service and to fulfill the purpose of the contract. The management of the contracted services may involve the communication of your data to collaborating companies and organizers of your trip.
You have the right to obtain confirmation of whether we are dealing with your personal data at Made for Spain & Portugal therefore you have the right to access your personal data, correct inaccurate information, or request its deletion when the data is no longer necessary.
You and the rest of the interested parties can expand information in this regard, or if you wish to exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation / suppression, opposition, limitation, or portability, you can do so by sending an email to info@madeforspainandportugal.com indicating in the subject “Data Protection” or by sending a request in writing to: C / Castelló 23, 2º Izq, 28001 Madrid – Spain together with valid proof of identity, such as a photocopy of your DNI.
